Cavendish recently confirmed its ongoing commitment to the e-gaming sector by sending two of its directors to the European-i-Gaming (EiG) Expo in Barcelona.  This long standing prestigious annual event which took place over 3 days in early October was reported to have attracted over 1,500 senior delegates from a wide variety of operators and service providers from across Europe and further afield.

Cavendish was represented by the lead director who has had had an involvement in all e-Gaming planning and practical issues since 2004 together with fellow director Tim Craine who until earlier this year was the Isle of Man Government’s Head of e-Gaming.  They were kept busy over the three days of the event dealing with enquiries from a wide range of start ups, established operators and other service providers who were all keen to learn more about the Isle of Man e-gaming proposition and benefits with a view to creating an Isle of Man presence.

Cavendish Trust’s participation at EiG was on the Isle of Man Government’s e-Gaming stand, as one of the Government’s preferred corporate service providers.  The Isle of Man Government’s e-Gaming stand also included representatives of the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, IOM data hosting providers, IOM e-Gaming lawyers and senior members of the Department of Economic Development.
