The ICE Totally Gaming Expo held in London each year has gone from strength to strength and this year surpassed all previous records. The three day event attracted just short of 24,000 gaming industry professionals meaning that anyone who is anyone in the gaming world was there.

Cavendish Trust was represented on the Isle of Man Government stand by Cavendish directors and Tim Craine. Commenting on the event, the leading Cavendish Director said “We were kept busy for the entire three days by operators keen to learn more about the advantages that the Isle of Man has to offer and we are delighted with both the number and quality of enquiries that we have brought back.  It was encouraging to see just how much interest there is in the Isle of Man as a jurisdiction which in no small part is due to the international reputation the Island has developed over the last 13 or so years.  Tim Craine also said “It was interesting to see the number of established land based businesses looking to go online and identifying the Isle of Man as a competitive, quality jurisdiction with which to associate their business.  In addition we saw a number of established companies looking to move their Headquarters to the Isle of Man, which again is very encouraging.

Cavendish has a long association with the e-gaming industry, with its lead director having over 22 years experience within the international corporate and trust service arena and therefore has a significant knowledge base of all offshore structuring matters, which includes involvement in all e-Gaming planning and practical issues since 2004.

Tim was formerly the Head of e-Gaming for the Isle of Man Government and has been associated with the sector on the Island from when it was first established in 2001.  As a result Tim has excellent contacts in both Government and the Private Sector.
